Progress on the ’51

Starting from the ground up, work has been flat out getting the pan to where it is now. Bobby wasted no time in chopping out the rust and welding in the fresh metal. Reconditioning some of the period parts from the old pan, enabled the original split seat runners to be reused on this one… (result!) And with some original reclining pre55 seats in place things are starting to take shape!

Lots of the other jobs are rapidly getting ticked off the list as remaining parts and necessary metal gets purchased! Pan is now painted which is a big stepping stone… Volksworld is on the horizon 😎 MattyImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Good job already done on your car Matty!
It seems to be on the right way to ride with it this year.
The work on your ex-ultraoval has began. It’s now a pan-off and i have found the three fold to graft on it…

Let me know what would be your travel to Ninove. When are you in Belgium? On Saturday?
Maybe we would be able to have a meet or something like that.
I would appreciate to see you again.
