DTA end of season meet
After the success of our (Stanford hall alternate) BBQ, we thought we could have another get together after an awesome show season. And of course before all you buffers put your cars into hibernation 😉
Dan du Cros will be on the BBQ cooking up his Family Butcher supplied meats! And we will have some tea and coffee.
Last time we had a peoples choice award and a slamwerks choice award also.
Fingers crossed we get good weather and if not we have a huge area indoors we can use also.
Not all slammed….
Although most of our cars are og paint and slammed we do have a few members with beautifully restored cars. One such car belongs to DTA member Stefan Rossi.
His 67 Sav beige uk rhd bug sports a 2276cc motor, 48 weber IDA’s, FK89 camshaft, CB 044 super magnum heads, MSD ignition with 6AL box, full autometer pro lite gauges, Simpson harnesses, 6 point roll cage with harness bar, disc brakes all around, rancho pro street transmission, Porsche pattern ercos up front and wide 5 pattern… you get the picture!
The car was fully restored around 2 years ago and has since done around 4000 miles. Chassis is detailed and all nuts and bolts zinc plated gold, nice!
A strip car you may think… you  would however be wrong. Stefan drives this car on the road quite regularly including a 2000 mile road trip around europe (you don’t want to know the fuel bill!)
This car is fun! – apart from when you snap another axle ay stef 😉
